Hello Troop 349

We need another or adult or two to join us on the TMR camp out next weekend. We are currently short one driver to accommodate the scouts that have registered. Please sign up online or contact Mr Lasher if you can join us. We will be leaving at 6:30am on Sat Feb 3 and returning around 12:30pm on Sunday. If you have registered please bring your payment to this week’s meeting. Thank you.

Hello Troop 349,

This weekend we will be heading to NoBeBosCo for a fun winter campout! This campout will be patrol cooking which for those who don’t know means patrols made just for this weekend
plan, buy and prepare/cook their own dinners. Guides/Patrol Leaders are responsible for making sure their patrol has food, the rule of thumb is to spend about $10 per person in the patrol, and
if you save your receipts you will be reimbursed. The patrols are as follows…

We will be meeting behind James Cress at 6:30am Sat. Please be prepared for snow & melting snow. You will be outside most of the day Saturday. Please bring a bag lunch for Saturday. Patrol cooking for dinner.. Breakfast will be provided by the troop. Please bring your mess kits & Nalgene bottles.We should be returning to James Cress around noon on Sunday.

Mrs Pickow is not able to hold the 7:00 Citizenship merit badge class tonight.

Our holiday party is tonight. Reminder, we are in the back gym. If you wish to participate in the secret Santa please bring a wrapped gift of no more than $20 value. Wear your festive shirts/ugly sweaters, Santa hats etc.If you are going on the Jan camping trip please bring the money in tonight. We have an over-flow list already. First paid, first on list.

Jan 3 is our alumni night. Pass the word to any 349 alumni you see during the holidays.

Due to snow for the second Saturday in a row, we will not be having any projects tomorrow Dec 16.

Lost scout book:
Please check to see if you have the correct scout book. Michael was unable to find his book after the meeting tonight. It has all his blue cards and sign offs in it and he is very upset. We appreciate any help locating it.

Dec 13 – Please bring an unwrapped toy for the John Thiessen Toy Drive.

Dec 20 – Secret Santa & holiday party – If you would like to participate in the secret Santa please bring a wrapped gift no more than $20 value to the meeting.

Jan 3 – Alumni night– All Troop 349 alumni are invited to this meeting. The further back in time we reach, the better chance of gathering many more for our 50th next year!
