If you missed the Yawgoog summer camp final payment date last week, today is the final day to make your payments. Ask Mr. Lasher or Mrs. Weisberg if you need the final amount due. Attention all scouts 16+ years old. (College guys are welcome too.) The Smithtown Chamber of Commerce is looking for 4 people to help with Smithtown Day this Sunday, June 4. They need people to pickup trash and bring trash to dumpsters. This is a paid opportunity, and you may also request a letter for community service. They need 2 people from 7am-11am and 2 people 11am-5pm. Each will receive $125. This is not a scout event, just an opportunity offered to responsible young adults. As promised, we will be finishing up our Spring 2023 Personal Management Class this Wednesday, May 24 at 6:45 PM. The venue is Great Hollow Middle School cafeteria.
For class participants: Please bring your workbooks with you. We will be looking over your records of saving and how you worked towards your goal. Be prepared to discuss Requirements 8, 9 & 10 – please have your workbooks filled in with answers for these requirements. If your plan from requirement 8 is not completed yet, that is OK as long as you can discuss the steps you will need to take to complete it. We will be handing out Blue Cards for this badge on Wednesday night.
