Our next campout will take place October 18-19 at Camp Glen Gray in Mahwah, NJ.
The troop will depart U-Haul on Bellemeade Avenue, Smithtown at approximately 7:30am on Saturday, October 18, and will return to Smithtown on Sunday, October 19 at approximately 12:00 pm.
Bring a sleeping bag, bag lunch for Saturday, snacks, your mess kit and a refillable water bottle.
Weekend activities will include:
-Hiking -Patrol Cooking

If you are parking a car today please park along the sides of the parking lot to leave parking spots in the middle open for emergency responders.

Hi! I’m James Wichtendahl and I am having my Eagle Scout Project Fundraiser Car Wash tomorrow, Saturday October 11 from 9am – 2pm at the Nesconset Fire Department Headquarters at 25 Gibbs Pond Road.
My project is to build a replacement Roof Training Simulator at the Smithtown Township Fire Training Facility. Firefighters cut openings in roofs to let out heat and smoke which helps the firefighters working inside the building. The old simulator is rotted and unsafe.

Hello Troop 349!
Tonight the Troop is receiving a donation of gently used sleeping bags and gear from a former scout family. Anyone who is interested in replacing their sleeping bags or if you have a younger Scout sibling that is just getting into camping please come down and take a look.
It’s been a while since the “free cycle” uniform and apparel bin has made an appearance at a meeting. I will bring it tonight for anyone that wants to browse it. Also, if you have gently used items you would like to donate please bring them to the meeting tonight.
