From Brendan Tesone: I am collecting food for the Holy Cross pantry. If you have any non-perishable items to donate, I will be collecting at tonight’s meeting. Otherwise I will be collecting at my house (11 Hampton Avenue, Nesconset) through the 21st. Thank you to all who have donated, I really appreciate it.

Good morning Troop 349,
Campers will be arriving at James Cress in about 15 minutes. Please check for ticks. We have had multiple people so far that have found ticks on themselves. Thank you to everyone that came out this weekend, and a special thank you to anyone that cooked, shopped, and cleaned this weekend. It wouldn’t be possible without you!

Good evening Troop 349,
Turkeyfest is finally here! Meet at the James Cress parking lot on Bellemeade Ave. off of East Main Street, Smithtown tomorrow at 7:30am. We will be heading out by 8, so if you aren’t there, meet us at Baiting Hollow Scout Camp. Bring nalgenes with water, warm clothes, your scout books, day pack, and a bagged lunch. If you’re camping, bring a sleeping bag, sleeping pad, warm pajamas, and whatever else you may need. Scouts camping over will return to James Cress parking lot at approx. 10:00am Sunday. Happy Veterans Day. Thank you to anyone in our troop that has served.
We will be taking down the flags on Main Street in Smithtown 4:00 pm today, so please come out and lend a hand. At the morning flag session, only two scouts showed up, so I hope to see more scouts there later today. Any questions reach out!

Unfortunately, our beloved master chef, Mr. Wallace cannot make it to Turkeyfest this year. We ask that any adults that would like to lead the kitchen for this Turkeyfest and help cook would please reach out. It is crucial that we have support here as it will help get food on the table. Also, everyone must now bring a bagged lunch, as it will no longer be provided. Please and thank you!!!
