This weekend’s campers—We will meet at the municipal parking lot across from the U-Haul on Bellemeade Ave in Smithtown at 7am on Saturday. The troop provides the tents and Saturday dinner/Sunday breakfast. Bring water and a bag lunch, maybe some snacks. Dress in warm layers, the night will be cold. Bring a wool hat and gloves. Hiking boots are recommended. Bring your sleeping bag and a sleeping pad if you have one, for comfort and insulation. A smaller backpack to carry lunch and water for our hike is a good idea and can be shared with a buddy.

Don’t forget that we have two events tomorrow. Alex Gnoffo has an Eagle project starting at 9am at Pal-O-Mine Equestrian on Old Nicholas Road. He is building several hay boxes for the horses. Matt Lasher has a car wash fundraiser for his project from 10-2 at Mr. Rubesh’s office on Terry Road. Help at either is greatly appreciated.

Court of Honor alert: To recognize your achievements such as rank advancements and merit badges earned since the June court of honor, we will be holding our next one on October 19 at the Great Hollow amphitheater, 7:30-9. (we need some help setting up at 7pm.) Class A uniforms. Please turn in any remaining blue cards on Wednesday the 12th and inform Mr. Mayer of any rank advancements by this date.
