Hello troop 349 this is Giorgio Latino. My Eagle Scout car wash will be today from 9am to 1pm at the Nesconset Fire Department located at 25 Gibbs Pond Road. There will be two car washes this weekend so I ask that we split the workload amongst both days. Lastly I hope everyone brings dirty cars and lots of scout spirit.

A quick reminder. For anyone visiting or picking up tomorrow, report to the main office (Bucklin, 2nd floor) first to check in. Bring your photo ID. They will give you a visitor bracelet so you can come tour the camp with your scout.

Good evening The boys have reached yawgoog safely and are settling in their tents. Reminder – your son’s care package should be dropped off at Mr Keenan’s house prior to Tuesday 7/11 – 7:00p.m. He leaves very early on Wednesday with his Santa hat on. I will be offering the Public Speaking Merit Badge at Yawgoog. The class participants are: Anthony Camilliti RJ Campisi Matt Lasher Evan Sanders Arin Tilara Justin Weisberg
I will choose a date and time (e.g. – 3:30-5 PM) based upon the scouts other badges.

Here are the pre-requisites and requirements:
Req 1 -> This 3 minute intro speech should need no preparation, we can do at Yawgoog Req 2 -> You can prepare this 3 minute speech ahead of time or do at Yawgoog; your choice Req 3 -> I will give you an impromptu topic at Yawgoog; no pre-work required Req 4 -> This 8 minute speech will require you to gather some information; please gather this information before Yawgoog Req 5 -> We will do this at Yawgoog; no pre-work required

Our pre-Yawgoog meet up and trailer packup is today. Come any time between 10am-noon. Everyone must bring their packed bags, medications, $ for troop banker if desired, and full uniform on a hanger for inspection. You will wear the uniform on Sunday. Carry a day pack on the ferry tomorrow with your nalgene water bottle, snacks and games. Pack a hanger for your uniform to hang in your tent. See you soon!
