A friendly reminder that we are going to have our annual Canoe Trip & Short Beach Campout on 9/9/2017.
For this trip / campout there is going to be a small change compared to the previous years due to the tide.
We will be meeting behind James Crest on Saturday morning @ 7:45AM.
From James Crest we will be going to Short Beach to setup the tents and have a few activities that are planned by the scouts.
After lunch, we will head back (around noon) to Smithtown for our canoe trip back to Short Beach.
In the morning plan to pick your child up from Short Beach no later than 9:00AM. If you cannot make it, please arrange for a ride back to town for him.
Please make sure that the Scout carries a Bag of Lunch, Nalgene Bottle, Mess Kit and a pack of Snack. Dinner will be prepared by Scouts at the Beach.
Depending on the total sign ups, we may need a few adult volunteers to ride the Scouts to Short Beach & back to Smithtown for the Canoe Trip. If you can make it, please let me know with your contact information.
If you have still not signed up, it is not yet late. You can sign up using the link
