Good Morning Troop 349, Every Scout interested in getting the BSA EPA Award needs a min of 8 specific service hours in calendar year 2021 to acquire this.
We are currently cleaning up of the PAL grounds. PAL Complex: Now , Sunday 3/21 700 Furrows Rd, Holtsville 9:30am- 1:00pm
Directions: Turn in at the J Kings sign drive thru the gates about 1/2 way back you will see a sliding gate to your right we will be on the other side of the restrooms. Where the Eagle Projects were done by the concession stands and turf field. There is an area to walk in next to the gate. Please and Thank you!!

Good Afternoon Troop 349, Just to keep everyone in the loop, I was just on the phone with NYS Contact tracing. I gave them contact information for everyone who was in attendance at our Wednesday 3/10, meeting. You should be receiving a call today or tomorrow from them. Contact Tracing will explain it to everyone when they call but… Quarantine is to last 10 days from the exposure, which was 3/10. So 3/20 we should be cleared. …again, as long as no one else develops symptoms or tests positive before then. Please take care and we’ll get through this together.

As per the Suffolk DOH guidelines: Being the boys are in a “group” it would be near impossible to identify who exactly was within 6′ of the covid+ case for 10 min collective, so, all the boys should quarantine. One can test, 5 days after exposure (Sun) BUT a negative test DOESN’T shorten quarantine. Also, Contact Tracing ‘should’ be calling everyone that was in attendance, within 48 hrs. I’m told it’ll most likely be from a blocked or unknown number. I apologize for all of the sudden inconveniences this has created however our scouts safety IS and will ALWAYS be my primary concern.
