New message from Jayden Mayer’s Troop 349 class

Good evening T349,
We are still looking for older scouts in the troop to help out running an Eagle table this Saturday, September 25. The event is held at the Vanderbilt Museum and Planetarium in Centerport. It will be starting at 11:00am, and volunteers are asked to help out for however long they can. It is a great opportunity for service hours, and will help out the fellow scout that is running the event. Please contact me if you would be interested in attending the event, I will fill you in on any more information necessary. Have a great night, and see you Wednesday!

Climbing Merit Badge Day – Nov 21, 2021

Climbing Merit Badge Day

Open to ALL Scouts!

Scouts who want to earn the climbing merit badge can join us on Sunday, November 21st, 2021 from 8:30am to 5:00pm at Baiting Hollow Scout Camp. 

The fee is $35 per scout. 

Registration is limited to 24 scouts. Scouts who want to earn the climbing merit badge should have the following requirements completed in the badge workbook: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, & 7. Click here for a copy of the workbook. 

All Participants are required to wear long pants (jeans prefered) and bring a completed BSA medical form (Parts A&B) and a release form with them. Any participant who does not have the medical form and release will not be able to participate.

Lunch will NOT be provided. Please be sure to bring a bag lunch.

Reminder that our first troop meeting of the year is tonight at 6:30 at the Gazebo near the Nesconset library. Please wear your CLASS A. Please bring any payments for the canoe trip this weekend as well as payments for Adventure Park. See you there!

Please come down to Main Street later to help us take down the American flags hung for Labor Day. Meet at the Uhaul parking lot on Bellemeade Ave. Scouts are encouraged to attend to help out, and it is a great opportunity for service ours. Webelos are welcome to attend with an adult.
