Hello Troop 349,
We wanted to let you know that we have updated the Star and Life Guideline documents on our website. This is one of the documents that Mr. Rubesh and Mr. Johnston hand out to candidates that approach them concerning a Service Project. The changes were made to reflect the 2016 Advancement changes in both ranks. We also added the name and links to adult leaders email addresses and relevant documents so the Scout may contact them to validate that the rank requirements have been met, and the Scout’s Handbook has been Signed-off These actions need to be completed before they request their Board of Review. Below are links to the new pages on our website:
Star Rank Requirements and Guideline page.
Life Rank Requirements and Guideline page.
By going through these steps, we can ensure that everything is in order when the Scout requests his Board of Review
Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Thank you.

I would just like to give a great big thanks to everyone who was able to come out to my eagle project today. We had an amazing turnout and it couldn’t have been done without all of you. The hand rail and retaining wall look great and I’m extremely pleased with the finished product and I hope you all realize that you didn’t just help me today, you helped out anyone that may enjoy walking around the stations of the cross on the church’s grounds so very well done.
Thank you once again,
Jacob M. Frielingsdorf"
