Baiting Hollow Climbing Merit Badge Day – May 7th

Climbing Merit Badge Day

Open to ALL Boy Scouts!

Scouts who want to earn the climbing merit badge can join us on Sunday, May 7th, 2017 from 8:30am to 5:00pm at Baiting Hollow Scout Camp. 

The fee is $35 per scout. Register Today!

Registration is limited to 32 scouts. Scouts who want to earn the climbing merit badge should have the following requirements completed in the badge workbook: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, & 7. Click here for a copy of the workbook. 

All Participants are required to wear long pants (jeans prefered) and bring a completed BSA medical form (Parts A&B) and a release form with them. Any participant who does not have the medical form and release will not be able to participate.

Air Trampoline

Hello Troop 349
Please go to the Air Trampoline’s website & fill out the waiver for tonight.
Parents– Please come in to the building to make sure that your scout has his waiver. Do not just “drop & run”
The address is
Air Trampoline. 1850 Lakeland Blvd Ronkonkoma.
We will meet there around 7:00 pm and we can start bouncing at 7:30. The one
hour session is $16/scout & $3.00 for the special socks needed, unless you still have last year’s socks. Siblings are invited too.The session ends at 8:30 pm so please make sure you get picked up at that time.
We will be back at Great Hollow next week.

Troop meeting March 29

Hello Troop 349

We were not able to set up Astronomy as this week’s activity. Since we
don’t have use of Great Hollow this week we are going to go to meet at
Air Trampoline. 1850 Lakeland Blvd Bohemia.
We will meet there around 7:00 pm and we can start bouncing at 7:30. The one

Thank you for all who came to my project today to clean the courtyard. It was very successful and it is the cleanest it has been in a while. This is perfect timing for everyone to start going outside during lunch to hang out (including myself), thank you all.

Fwd: Boy Scout Spring Camp – April 10-14, 2017

Spring Camp 2017  (April 10th-14th)
Learning the Trades is our theme!

Spring Camp 2017 will have a Learning the Trades theme. The Merit Badges being offered are all related to the theme. Auto Mechanics, Electricity, Home Repairs, Painting, Plumbing and  Surveying will all be offered at Spring Camp.

In addition to merit badge classes, we will have presentations and hands on activities related to the theme. Scouts will have the opportunity to work with tools and test out some new skills. Learning and activities will not be limited to the merit badge requirements. Scouts will do a round robin of hands on activities including but not limited to installing a toilet and sink, Wiring a switch, outlet and light fixture, using a transit, using a paint brush and roller.
 
Scouts will sleep in cabins and tents  All meals will be prepared and served in the Dining Hall. The Trading Post will be stocked with snacks, merit badge books, Scouting items and camp souvenirs.

The price is $310 per Boy Scout. Please Click Here to Register
