Scavenger hunt- Parent notes
Troop parents,
Tonight’s meeting is the troop’s annual scavenger hunt. Scouts need to create teams and hunt for clues throughout town. This requires an ADULT driver (no one under the age of 21). Teams are limited to the number of seat belts in the drivers vehicle. In years past scouts needed to take rubbings, pictures, purchase items for $3.49, research troop & town history ( smart phone / tablet may help) collect things and write them down. Good luck.
This year the event will end at Swirls & Twirls in the Nesconset shopping center at Smithown Blvd. & Old Nichols rd. ( next to Ace hardware). Ice Cream for the scouts will be provided by the Assistant Scoutmaster if they remember please and thank you of course.

New Yawgoog Information Page
Hello Troop 349,
We have added a Yawgoog Information Page on the Troop website. It contains information such as Medical Forms, Merit Badge offerings, links to the Yawgoog website and other information to help you and your parents prepare for that week at the Troop’s “Home Away from Home”.
You will of course be getting notices through the Troop’s email, Facebook, Remind, and other Social Media venues. Below is a link to the page.
As we continue in our planning, more information will be added to the page.

May 31 troop meeting
Hello Troop
Tomorrow night’s meeting will be our annual scavenger hunt. The leadership scouts have come up with a list of items around town that you will need to find. The meeting will start promptly at 7:30 at the Nesconset library. Please have your drivers and scouts they are taking set up before you arrive. The scavenger hunt will end with ice cream at Swirls & Twirls on Smithtown Blvd at 8:45. (Ace & CVS shopping center corner of Nichols Rd).
Please bring your Whitewater payment and liability forms. Payments for Yawgoog and the beach CoH too please.
Any Webelos who have recently joined and only need a scoutmaster conference to finish their Scout badge please see me before the scavenger hunt.
