Oct 2017 Camp-out: North South Campground
I’ve invited you to fill out a form: Oct 2017 Camp-out: North South Campground This tent camp-out will take place during the October 21st weekend at North-South Lake Campground, NY. CAMPERS SHOULD DRESS WITH APPROPRIATE LAYERS, HEADGEAR, HIKING BOOTS AND HAVE WARM GLOVES.
The cost is $30 per person. Please pay for this trip at an upcoming troop meeting.
Sign-up closes on Wednesday, Oct 18th.Expected departure time from the James Cress parking lot is no later than 6 am on Saturday, October 21st. Expected return to James Cress is Sunday, October 22nd about 2 pm.
More details shall be provided at upcoming Troop meetings.

Oct 2nd Leadership Meeting
Hello Troop 349,
This is just a friendly reminder about Mondays (Oct 2nd) Leadership Meeting at Great Hollow. We will be meeting in the cafeteria from 7pm to 8:30pm. If you are a Patrol Leader, Guide, Instructor, or ASPL you are expected to be there. The only things you need to bring are a pen and yourself. I look forward to seeing everyone there.

Troop 349 Popcorn Fundraiser
Hooray for POPCORN!!!
Hello Troop 349 Families! Order forms and flyers went home with Scouts at Wednesday's meeting. Additional form are available at every meeting and on our Troop 349 website. At the meeting we talked about WHY we are raising money (for the troops needs, like new tents and the trailer) and HOW we are raising money (order forms, show and sells). Each Scouts personal goal is $250 in sales. This will raise $65-Troop and $35-Scout which helps offset the difference between the Cost of Scouting ($222) and the registration fee ($140).

There are still a few time slots available. Please use the link below to sign up for one of the 3 Show an Sell locations! It's a great opportunity to raise money in a short time for your Scout and the Troop. Adult volunteers are needed as well. Come hang out with me. I guarantee we'll have FUN!

:FundRaiser Troop Popcorn Sale
Hello Troop 349 Families! As announced at the CoH, Troop 349 is participating in the national Boy Scout Popcorn Fundraiser this year to help fund our excellent Scouting program. We keep 40% of all sales which is split between the Troop (65%) and the Scout (35%). Popcorn is a family friendly product and makes a great holiday gift for teachers, coaches and hostess gifts for those holiday parties!
Order Forms and Payment Due by 10/25
Popcorn order forms were handed out at the CoH. They are also available at the weekly meetings or can be downloaded from the Troop 349 website. Order forms are great for taking to work, sharing with family, neighbors and friends. Order forms AND PAYMENT are due by 10/25. Popcorn will be delivered the week of 11/20.
Show and Sell 10/1, 10/7
Boys and Adult Volunteers can sign up for a "Show and Sell" which is a sale table set up in front of a local store. At a Show and Sell boys practice skills like communication, marketing, cash handling and learn about electronic payments (credit cards) and how they work. It’s also a great way to showcase Troop 349! Boys earn the same 35% as they do with order forms, but with more opportunity for sales in a short period of time. Our Show and Sell dates and locations are:

Dan Giglio Life Project
