December 2, 2017 – NYC Day Hike
I’ve invited you to fill out a form: December 2, 2017 – NYC Day Hike Come join the troop on its annual December Hike Down the NYC Highline! We will be meeting at the Ronkonkoma Train Station and take the LIRR to the City:
Hike down the NYC HighLine – www.thehighline.org/visit
Tour the National September 11 Memorial & Museum www.911memorial.org/The cost is $35 per person. This covers Roundtrip LIRR and NYC Subway fares, and entrance to the 9/11 Museum.
Please pay for this trip at the next troop meeting.
Please bring a bag lunch, a day pack, and a Nalgene Water bottle.
PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY KNIVES! We will be going through Security checks.
More details shall be provided at upcoming Troop meetings.We ask that you please create a separate entry for each person that will attend. Thank you!

Benjamin Tallmadge Merit Badge Opportunities
Suffolk County Council is excited to bring a year long merit badge program to the Boy Scouts. Â Through this program we will be partnering with various organizations and companies to offer unique merit badge opportunities. Â Click the links below for each merit badge to see when and where it will be offered along with the cost to participate. Â All pre-requisites are listed at the bottom of the page. January 2018 Campout -NoBeBoSco
I’ve invited you to fill out a form: January 2018 Campout -NoBeBoSco This cabin camp out will take place during the January 20th weekend at Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco, NJ. Activities planned for this camp out include:
Ice skating on Sand Pond
Hiking on the Appalachian Trail
Patrol CookingCAMPERS SHOULD DRESS WITH APPROPRIATE WARM LAYERS, HEADGEAR, HIKING BOOTS AND HAVE WARM GLOVES.
The cost is $25 per person. Please pay for this trip at an upcoming troop meeting.
Sign-up closes on Wednesday, Jan 10th.
Please note that there are only 30 total cabin spaces for both Scouts and adult leaders. This camp-out sign-up is open to the first 30 paid reservations.Expected departure time from the James Cress parking lot is no later than 7 am on Saturday, January 20th.
More details shall be provided at upcoming Troop meetings.
