January 2017 -LI MacArthur Airport ATC Tower Trip 8:15 am |
This trip will take place on January 21st at Long Island MacArthur Airport.
Drop off at 8:15 am and pick up at 10:30 am behind the James Cress florist in Smithtown.
A maximum of 16 Scouts and 4 adult trip drivers will go on this trip. Parking is limited so car pooling is required.
Scouts must wear their Class A uniforms to participate.
Sign-up closes after 20 individuals register.
This 8:15 am trip may get merged with the 9:15 am trip if the sign-up registrations are low. |

I would like to thank everyone who came out to my Star Project at Stop & Shop in the freezing cold weather on Sunday. We were able to collect a lot of food donations to help fill up the food pantry at the Parish of the Holy Cross.
Here is list of the items we collected:

February 2017 Campout -Alpine |
This cabin camp-out will take place during the February 18th weekend at Camp Alpine, NJ. This weekend is at the beginning of the mid-winter school break.
Activities available at Camp Alpine include:
Activity Center -Climbing wall, ping pong, Foosball tables, volleyball court, basketball hoops
Hiking on the Red Dot Trail or in the Palisades Interstate Park
Geocaching Course
Orienteering Course
CAMPERS SHOULD DRESS WITH APPROPRIATE WARM LAYERS, HEADGEAR, HIKING BOOTS AND HAVE WARM GLOVES.
The cost is $25 per person. Please pay for this trip at an upcoming troop meeting.
Sign-up closes on Wednesday, Feb 8th, but there are only 28 total cabin spaces for both Scouts and adult leaders. This camp-out sign-up will close once the 28 spaces are paid for.
Expected departure time from the James Cress parking lot is no later than 7 am on Saturday, February 18th.
More details shall be provided at upcoming Troop meetings. |

This cabin camp out will take place during the January 27th weekend at Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco, NJ.
Activities planned for this camp out include:
Ice skating on Sand Pond
Hiking on the Appalachian Trail
Patrol Cooking
CAMPERS SHOULD DRESS WITH APPROPRIATE WARM LAYERS, HEADGEAR, HIKING BOOTS AND HAVE WARM GLOVES.
