Snow Tubing

Snow Tubing Info

We will be meeting at James Cress tomorrow at 7 am. Please bring the release form for Blue Mountain that is on the troop website. Dress warm & in layers it will be the coldest day we’ve had in awhile! A change of clothes for the car ride would be a good idea. Bring a bag lunch and some spending money for dinner on the way home. We will be returning to Cress around 8 pm.
Let’s have some fun!

Interested in the Chess Merit Badge?

I am counseling for the Chess merit badge.  It is best done as a group (since scouts will be playing each other).  If a few scouts are interested, I can get a group together and meet with them 4 or 5 times from 7:00 to 7:30 on Wednesdays, before Scout meetings, at the school.  We would probably start end of March.  If interested, reply back or call/text me at 631-579-7377.  Scouts must know the basic rules of chess to attend.  Thanks.

Court Of Honor

Hello All.  All blue cards must be completed by this Wednesday night, and handed in, to be included in the 03/08 court of honor.  Anything completed after this day will be held until June.  Also, if you haven’t spoken with me about a rank advancement you’ve completed you need to talk to me at the meeting this Wednesday.

New comment on your post “New message from Mr. A. Bodor’s Smithtown Troop349 class” Author: Steven Landau (IP: 73.206.82.145, c-73-206-82-145.hsd1.tx.comcast.net) Email: slandau5898@att.net URL: Comment: Hello Mr. Bodor,
My name is Steve Landau. I am the first Eagle Scout of Troop 349, from 1971! This is incorrectly stated on the troop website. I have a few items the Troop might be interested in. I still have the Original Eagle Patrol flag, with award pennants still attached to it. I have pictures from when the Troop went to Gardner’s Island in the summer of 1972 (?) Any many patches from camping trips the troop went on, such as Polar Bears, etc…from the 1971–1974 time frame. I would love to done this historical info to the Troop. Please let me knowo hw I can make this happen.
Thanks
Steve Landau
