Boy Scout Day Camp

For those of you that didn’t get enough scouting a Yawgoog…

Boy Scout Day Camp
July 23 – 27, July 30 – August 3, August 6 – 10, August 13 – 17, August 20 – 24

 

Boy Scout Day Camp is intended for younger Boy Scouts or boys who want to get in a little more camp time and still be able to spend time in the evening with their families. Scouts will work on basic Scout skills from camping, cooking ,knot tying and orienteering and more. Each week a Scout will have the opportunity to earn one Merit Badge and enjoy exciting outdoor activities. Activities will include Swimming, Boating, Archery, Rifle Shooting. Climbing, Rappelling, Sports and More!

Scouts will have an opportunity to work on rank advancement for Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class. Some of the Merit Badges offered during Boy Scout Day Camp are: Space Exploration, Canoeing, Fishing, Game Design, Geocaching, Orienteering, Swimming, Archery, Weather and much more! Not every Badge is available every week. Please click here to register for Boy Scout Day Camp.

Ride the Bus to Baiting Hollow Scout Camp

Back by popular demand – ride the bus to Day Camp at Baiting Hollow Scout Camp! Bus cost is $60.00 per week per Scout. You must enroll in Cub Scout Day Camp or Boy Scout Day Camp to take advantage of the bus.

Yawgoog

Hello Troop

There will be a mandatory meeting for only the leadership scouts going to Yawgoog. It will be held outside the library this Wednesday June 20 from 7-8 pm. At the meeting we will go over what needs to be done in the upcoming days in order to prepare for our week at Yawgoog.

Patrol leaders will be having individual meetings in the upcoming days to go over merit badges, patrol flags & other items for Yawgoog.

Our June 27 troop meeting will be to collect final payments, medical forms, & merit badges being taken at Yawgoog.

If you would like to stop by at the leadership meeting tomorrow to make final payment & or bring down medical forms, I will be there from 7-8pm
