Tonight our meeting will be held from 7:30-9:00 at the Holbrook Country Club at 700 Patchogue Holbrook Road. Due to the rain expected this afternoon and this evening we will need to move inside and Mr. Stahl has graciously offered the use of the space at the Club. Scouts should be in Class A uniform and go to the main entrance when you arrive at the building. See you there tonight!

Pack 57 Bicycle Rodeo On Sunday September 22, 2024 from 10:00am to 11:30am Pack 57 is hosting a Bicycle Rodeo in the parking lot at Schubert’s Beach 554 East Long Beach Road, St. James. The participants will learn bike safety skills and the rules of the road. Bikes will be inspected and helmets will be fitted and then they will take a ride through a skill course to practice bike safety techniques.
Pack 57 asked for a few 349 Scouts to help run their bicycle rodeo. The event starts at 10:00, so let’s get there a little early to get set up.
Feel free to bring your bike and helmet, but there are non-rolling helper positions available too~!

Good Morning Troop 349, Mikey Erhard will be having his Eagle Scout Project this Today going from 8am to 4 pm. He is constructing a path for Lending Comforts to the Sick at 71 Blydenburg Ave, Smithtown.
Come in Class B and bring shovels, rakes, gloves, tampers, and SCOUT SPIRIT!! Thank You and can’t wait to see everyone there.

Tomorrow will be Mikey Erhards Eagle scout project, information went out at Wednesdays meeting, but in case anyone wasn’t there it will be 8:00AM to 4:00 PM at 71 Blydenburg Avenue, Lending Comforts for the sick. Bring rakes gloves, tampers, shovels, and most importantly SCOUT SPIRIT!!! Hope to see everyone there!

October Campout -Harriman State Park This tent campout will take place October 5-6 at Lake Tiorati in Harriman State Park.
The troop will depart from the Municipal Parking Lot across from the U-Haul on Bellemeade Ave, Smithtown at 7:30 am on Saturday, October 5, and will return to Smithtown on Sunday, October 6 at approximately 1:00 pm.
Weekend activities will include: Patrol cooking Hiking in the State Park

We had a great time yesterday before the wind and rain washed out camp. It’s times like this that remind us how fortunate we are when the weather cooperates, when we have smooth transportation, when we didn’t forget to pack something important, and when everything goes right.
But more importantly, we are thankful for all the Scouts and Parents who helped out last night when we abruptly ended the campout. Thank you to everyone who took home tents and will air them out today. A few parents reached out already- bring what you have to the next scout meeting and we will try to get all the missing pieces back together and figure out what, if anything, needs to be replaced.
