Hello Troop 349!
We are looking forward to better weather and the next Campout! This cabin campout will take place March 7-9 at Alpine Scout Camp in Alpine, NJ.
The troop will meet at U-Haul on Bellemeade Avenue, Smithtown at 6pm on Friday, March 7, and will return to Smithtown on Sunday, March 9 at approximately 12:00 pm.
Bring sleeping bags, warm winter clothes for outdoor hiking including hat and gloves, bag lunch for Saturday, snacks, water in refillable bottle. (Nalgene 32oz)
Weekend activities will include: Hiking, Troop Cooking The cost is $50 per person. Please pay at an upcoming troop meeting, or Venmo Mrs. Weisberg @BSA349Smithtown (use code 3721)

Please bring a water bottle, a snack or something to eat and hiking shoes or boots. Remember to dress warm and in layers, hats and gloves too!

Good morning Troop 349!
After a long week of watching and wishing away the weather, the leadership has decided to cancel the NoBeBosCo campout. This is never an easy decision to make because we have been putting in a lot of effort to plan the campout and we know what a disappointment this is. The snow is forecasted to end Sunday mid morning and we anticipate the driving conditions for the drive home to be less than ideal, and potentially dangerous because of the low temperatures forecasted.
We still want to do something together as a Troop! On Saturday morning we will meet at Caleb Smith State Park in Smithtown for a hike. Meet at 11am in the parking lot with a refillable water bottle, snacks or something to eat along the way, and comfortable hiking shoes or boots. Please remember to dress warm for the weather and this means hats, gloves and layers.

Reminder: A Scout is Reverent! Scout Sunday is this Sunday at Parish of the Holy Cross. Worship starts at 9:30 so please arrive by 9:15 in Class A Uniform so we can assemble and be ready.
