Good morning Troop 349!
After a long week of watching and wishing away the weather, the leadership has decided to cancel the NoBeBosCo campout. This is never an easy decision to make because we have been putting in a lot of effort to plan the campout and we know what a disappointment this is. The snow is forecasted to end Sunday mid morning and we anticipate the driving conditions for the drive home to be less than ideal, and potentially dangerous because of the low temperatures forecasted.
We still want to do something together as a Troop! On Saturday morning we will meet at Caleb Smith State Park in Smithtown for a hike. Meet at 11am in the parking lot with a refillable water bottle, snacks or something to eat along the way, and comfortable hiking shoes or boots. Please remember to dress warm for the weather and this means hats, gloves and layers.
