Welcome back to the scouting year. Please join us on Monday, September 5 for the American flag placement/pickup on Main Street. Meet at 8am and 5pm at the U-Haul on Bellemeade Road, Smithtown. Please try to come to the morning, evening or both if you are in town this weekend. Class A uniforms expected. — Our first troop meeting is Wednesday, September 7 at the Nesconset Gazebo next to the Library/Armory. Class B uniforms. 7-8:30pm. Bring payments for the campout. — Our annual Nissequogue River canoe trip and Short Beach campout is Saturday, September 10. Cost is $30 or $5 if you are bringing your own kayak/canoe or are only coming for dinner and/or camping. (Must be 14 or older to kayak alone.)
