Suffolk County Council is excited to bring a year long merit badge program to the Boy Scouts.  Through this program we will be partnering with various organizations and companies to offer unique merit badge opportunities.  As information about the district summer merit badge programs become official in the spring we will have that information here as well.  Click the links below for each merit badge to see when and where it will be offered along with the cost to participate.  If you have any questions please contact the person in charge of the merit badge on its individual sign up page.

May 6, 2017 – Shotgun Shooting 9:00am-5:00pm @ LI Shooting Range of Brookhaven ($65)

May 7, 2017 – Climbing 8:30am-5:00pm @ Baiting Hollow Scout Camp ($35)

May 20, 2017 – Reptile and Amphibian Study 2:00pm-3:30pm @ Quogue Wildlife Refuge ($20)

May 27, 2017 – Bird Study 11:00am-12:30pm @ Quogue Wildlife Refuge ($20)

June 10, 2017 – Mammal Study 11:00am-12:30pm @ Quogue Wildlife Refuge ($20)

Suffolk County Council, BSA provides a comprehensive values-based program that develops character, teaches citizenship, and encourages personal fitness to more than 13,000 youth each year. The Council was chartered on April 6, 1919 to instill values and expand the Scouting movement in Suffolk County.
