Hello Troop 349! We just received an update from the park attendants. If for some reason you were unable to get a parking permit, just show your driver’s license at the guard booth and they will give you a day pass. They acknowledge there have been problems with the permit website and they don’t want anyone to get ticketed.
All those with licenses with addresses outside of Smithtown you have the option of parking in the lot and paying the parking fee or you can park in the neighborhood across the street after 5:00pm.
