Troop 349 Upcoming Events as of 5/1/2024 May 8, 15, 22 – Wednesday Meeting – Smithtown HS East, 10 School St. St James. Commons Cafeteria 7:30-9pm. Class A uniform. Any changes will be communicated. May 18-19 – Whitewater rafting campout. Sign up form coming soon. Save the date! May 27 – Memorial Day flag placement on Main St., Smithtown. 9am. Trailer clean-up 10-12. Flag pickup 5pm May 29 – Wednesday meeting – Scavenger hunt meeting. Meet at Nesconset Library parking lot 7:00, pickup at Swirls and Twirls 8:30. Frozen yogurt provided for the scouts. Adult drivers needed to escort scouts around town to achieve their scavenger hunt goals. Class B uniforms. June 5 – Troop Court of Honor and picnic. All scouts and families will attend and celebrate the achievements of our scouts. Class A uniforms. Hoyt Farm Park. 5pm dinner, 6:30 ceremony. Troop will cook burgers and dogs. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share, and soft drinks. July 7-13 – Summer camp at Yawgoog. Everyone is going to camp! Bring a $50 deposit now to hold your spot. $775 for the week includes all transportation from Orient to Rockville, RI and back, merit badges, camping, food and fun. More details very soon.
