Boy Scout Winter Camp

Winter Camp 2019- February 18-22
Safety / Emergency Preparedness is our theme!

Winter Camp 2019 will have a Safety / Emergency Preparedness theme. The Merit Badges being offered are all related to the theme.  First Aid, Emergency Preparedness, Traffic Safety, Search and Rescue, Safety, Fire Safety, Signs Signals and Codes,  and Public Health will all be offered as part of the theme.  In addition Chess, Photography and Scouting Heritage will also be offered

 In addition to merit badge classes, we will have presentations and activities related to the theme. The Fire Department, Police Department, Sheriff’s K-9 unit, Department of Health, PSE&G Long Island and the Search and Rescue group are all scheduled to visit us during the week. Topics include electrical safety, Fire prevention, Public Health, and First Aid. The week will end with a camp-wide Search and rescue drill that will challenge all of our Scouts.

Scouts will sleep in heated cabins. All meals will be prepared and served in the Dining Hall. The Trading Post will be stocked with snacks, merit badge books, Scouting items, and camp souvenirs.
